DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. - The Sun Conference has tabbed Florida Memorial's Jeffrey Henderson as this week's Field Athlete of the Week, the second straight week he has received the honor.
Henderson, a junior from Little Rock, Ark., competed in the long jump at the Inaugural Bethune-Cookman Beach Invitational on Saturday. Henderson jumped 22 ft. 8 in. to take the gold medal at the event. Henderson also helped the FMU relay team to a second-place finish in the 4x400m relay in a time of 3:16.36.
