DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. - Florida Memorial's Dredame Carter has been selected as The Sun Conference Track Athlete of the Week in men's track and field for the week of Apr. 4-10, 2011, the conference office announced Monday. This is the second consecutive week that Carter has earned this award.
Carter won the 400m at the inaugural B-CU Beach Invitational in Daytona Beach, Fla., finishing in an "A" standard time of 46.91. That time is also the fastest time recorded in that event in the NAIA this season. In addition, the junior was a part of the 4x400m relay team that finished second in 3:16.36.
