DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. - Eze Andrews averaged 15.2 ppg and 10.6 rebounds in the first two weeks of the season helping Savannah College of Art and Design post a 3-2 record to earn the first Florida Sun Conference Player of the Week honors of the 2006-07 season, conference official announced today.

Andrew made his presence known on the court with the Bees, as the junior college transfer has posted three double-doubles this season including a rare triple-double in a 55-51 victory against Southern Wesleyan. His 11 blocks against SWU established a new college mark for the Bees and he averaged 5.0 blocks for the first two weeks.  His other two double-doubles came in a 90-87 loss to Reinhardt (Ga.) with 16 points and 13 boards, and in a 62-59 victory at Brewton-Parker with 17 points, 11 rebounds and eight blocks.

For the opening two weeks, Andrews shot 62.0 percent from the field (29-for-47) and 75.0 percent from the charity stripe (18-for-24).
