DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. - Jessaca Spears of SCAD, has been named The Sun Conference Player of the Week after tallying 11 hits in 13 at-bats on the week for the Bees. This was announced Monday by the Conference office.
Spears hit .846 on the week, going 3-for-3 in three games, with 11 hits that included three doubles and a triple. Spears had nine RBI and scored five runs. On the week she slugged for a 1.231 percentage and had a .857 on-base percentage.
Other nominees include: Alyssa Santos, Northwood; Staci Frenandez, Warner; and Melissa King, St. Thomas.
