DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. - Webber International's Shauna Ward has been named The Sun Conference Player of the Week for the week ending Mar. 8, 2010.
Ward had an outstanding week with 10 runs 6 doubles 5 home runs and 22 RBIs as the Warriors went 7-3. Ward batted .563 during the week, as well as slugging 1.219.
Ward was 4-for-4 in WIU's 8-0 win over Wesley College, as well as being 3-for-3 in a 9-1 win over Thomas (Ga.)
