Florida Memorial University Women's Soccer Storm to a 8-1 Victory

The Florida Memorial University women's soccer team opened its inaugural season with a bang. The Lady Lions opened the 2009 season with a decisive 8-1 win over The College of the Bahamas, Sunday at Harry T. Moore  Baseball Field.

Nadia Baltazar made two quick goals with less than three minutes in the game and then Tinna Odindottit added a next one to put Florida Memorial up 3-0. The Lady Lions end the first half 4-1 and added four  more goals in the second half. 

 

Lady Lions were winning 4-0 before the half when the College of the Bahamas scored on a kick shot by Florida Memorial in The College of the Bahamas goal. 

 

Other Scorers were Reshan Williams, Lourdine Delphonse, and Gabriela Godwin. Esprit Boyd and Katelyn Butler had two save each.

 

The women's soccer team will play their next game at Barry University in Miami Shores, on Wednesday, September 2nd at 7PM.
