Sun Conference Athletics

Edward Waters held off a late inning rally by Northwood with an unassisted double play by Brian Fitzpatrick to sweep the three-game series. The Tigers hammered out 31 hits on the weekend with six of those being homeruns. There was a solid performance by the Tigers pitching staff in all three games. Each of the three starting pitchers for the Tigers pitched a complete game. Offensively, the Tigers were led by the bat of Brian Fitzpatrick, who leads the Sun Conference in batting average. The Tigers now prepare to host NCAA Division I opponent Florida A&M and defending Sun Conference champions Embry-Riddle this coming weekend.
