Embry-Riddle's Austin Quinn earned two distinctions in 2010 as he was named the Pitcher of the Year and the Champion of Character Award winner. Quinn, a senior from Titusville, Fla. has a 9-2 record this year with a 1.82 ERA. He has six complete games and three shutouts, to lead the NAIA No. 9 Eagles pitching staff. In addition to hs work on the field, Quinn boasts a 3.61 cummulative grade point average while majoring in Communications. He holds the distinction of being the first baseball player at ERAU to earn and Eagle Athletics Champion of Character Scholarship.

Embry-Riddle also took home the Player of the Year award as Austin Goolsby was tabbed with the honor. The senior catcher from Coppell, Texas, who was a 49th round draft pick of the San Francsico Giants last summer, leads the Eagles with 10 home runs, including three in one game against Webber International earlier in the season. He has a .321 batting average with 53 hits and 42 RBI.

Florida Memorial skipper Oscar Fernandez was named the Coach of the Year. Fernandez led the Lions to their first postseason appearance in 18 years.
