16 Named to NAIA Women’s Soccer Scholar Athlete Roster
DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. –- The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics announced the 2011 Daktronics-NAIA Women’s Soccer Scholar-Athlete roster and list included 16 student-athletes from six different Sun Conference institutions. Warner led the way with six honorees followed by Johnson & Wales with five and Embry-Riddle, SCAD Savannah and Southeastern with two each.
In order to qualify for the NAIA Scholar-Athlete Award, student-athletes must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale and must have achieved a junior academic status.
