ERAU Men's Track and Field Wins Ninth Straight Conference Title
DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – The Embry-Riddle men’s track & field team took home the Sun Conference Championship title on Sunday afternoon at the ERAU Track and Field Complex on the campus of Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University.
It was the ninth consecutive title for the Eagle men under Head Coach Mike Rosolino.
ERAU's James Lovett and Northwood’s Edens Thermidor were honored as The Sun Conference Track Athletes of the Year, as both men scored 20.5 points for their teams, which was the most points scored by any runner over the two day meet. Michael Cassidy of Warner was awarded Field Athlete of the Year honors for his impressive showing at The Sun Conference Championships.
ERAU’s Mike Rosolino was named The Sun Conference Coach of the Year for the seventh time in his career, while Southeastern’s Kyler Kathman and ERAU’s Daniel Cashdollar were both selected as the Sun Conference Men’s Track and Field Champions of Character award winners.
The top three finishers in each event were named to the All-Conference team for the 2015 season.
